Library & Research

Why are we called a Libratory?

Libraries have been around since 300 B.C. When libraries were first created, they were used by historians and scholars as a quiet place of reflection, a place to keep recorded history and a place of learning.

The Oberon library is still a place of learning, but much more. The space is meant for reading and literacy as well as a place to challenge yourself and collaborate with others. Oberon combines the library with the ideals of a laboratory space, making us a – Libratory!

Welcome to the Libratory

Book Checkout

Students will come with their English language arts (ELA) class to check out books. Students are also welcome to come before and after school, during lunch recess and during Access to check out books.

  • Students can have four books checked out at a time.
  • The checkout period is two weeks
  • Students can go through the catalog to renew their books or visit the Libratory and their books will be renewed.

To add favorites, put books on hold, renew or search for a book, visit the Library Catalog and log in using the Jeffco login button.
